Chromasens presented a 3D system based on two color line scan cameras that calculates 3D point clouds from the color stereo image pairs in real time. The object surface is available in the form of 3D coordinates and the respective RGB color values. With a scanning width of 500 mm (5000 pixels), the system achieves measuring speeds of up to 110,000 image lines/s at a resolution of 1/10 mm. The 3D images are taken of moving objects at speeds of up to 2 m/s.
