The incremental version of the QR24 non-contact encoder is now also available with a pulse count that can be parameterized by the customer. The user can freely select the number of pulses per revolution between 1 and 5,000 via the Pactware parameterization software. As before, the encoder can also be taught to one of the nine most common preset pulse numbers via the Turck teach adapter. The QR24 can thus be used as a universal incremental encoder, which effectively reduces the number of encoder variants to be kept in stock and enables more standardization.
