Real-Time Systems - PC-based software platform 'RTS Hypervisor':
Tenasys, provider of real-time operating system software and services, has initiated a partnership with Real-Time Systems (RTS). The result of this strategic cooperation is a PC-based software platform that enables the secure consolidation of heterogeneous systems with different operating systems, which also meets strict, deterministic application requirements. The 'RTS Hypervisor' for x86 architectures, which runs immediately after installation, utilizes the potential of today's multi-core processors. It allows the use of Tenasys' 'Intime RTOS' applications alongside a wide range of different operating systems in real time, with minimal jitter and no virtualization overhead. The software platform also enables developers to use the latest protocols and CPU technologies such as Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) or Intel Time Coordinated Computing (TCC).
