In terms of telecontrol, Siemens is presenting the new Simatic RTU3030C telecontrol unit, a remote terminal unit (RTU) for monitoring systems via mobile radio. With self-sufficient operation, independent of the power supply network, the new device monitors pumping stations, water reservoirs, irrigation systems and fill levels in tanks - from water and wastewater management to agriculture and inventory monitoring in industrial environments.
