The Siemens permanently excited synchronous motors and asynchronous motors with a continuous output of 60 and 50 kW respectively are optimized for the requirements of electric cars. Their maximum output after 30 seconds is up to 115 kW. The maximum torque is up to 220 Nm. The speed is around 10,000 revolutions per minute in each case.
