ABB's M2M grid analyzer allows the power consumption of different devices to be monitored in real time and, thanks to conversion into euros and_{CO2 consumption}, to be presented from both an economic and ecological perspective. Advanced analysis functions make it possible to measure the most important parameters of single-phase or three-phase alternating current: voltage, current, frequency, power factor, active and reactive power, active and reactive energy. Bidirectional measurements of energy and power on all four quadrants allow both generated and consumed energy to be monitored with a single device. All data is available via the RS 485, RJ 45 or RS 232 communication interfaces, with support for protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP and Profibus DP. The depth of 57 mm enables panel mounting even where space is limited.
