The Controlpro computer from Peaknx has been specially designed for building automation. The data center is built according to industry standards. The computer with control panel operates silently as there are no moving parts such as fans or hard disks. The hardware is based on an X2 dual-core processor with convective cooling, an SSD hard disk with 120 to 250 GB and 4 to 16 GB of RAM. WLAN, a 2-megapixel HD webcam, an 18.5-inch LCD panel with P-Cap touch technology as well as broadband speakers and microphones complete the control center. A USB front connection enables fast data transfer; two USB3, USB2, Gigabit LAN and HDMI connections are available at the rear for the house connection. One connection each for KNX, CAN or LIN are optionally available. Windows 8, 64 bit is used as the operating system. The panel can be customized and replaced in seconds. The operating voltage is 230 V. With only 5 W standby power consumption and 60 W at maximum expansion level.
