Kübler's Profinet encoders now support Fast Start Up (FSU), which enables a system to be started up in less than a second, the manufacturer promises. By way of comparison, it currently takes around ten seconds to start up a Profinet system with all field devices involved in communication without FSU. The Sendix Absolute family from Kübler implements the entire encoder profile in accordance with 'Profile Encoder Version 4.1' as well as 'Identification & Maintenance Functionality in Version 1.16' (IM 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4). In addition, Kübler provides specific modules for the Siemens Step7 environment for Profinet encoders.
