Manufacturing companies see the establishment of an operational energy management system as the biggest obstacle to implementing energy-efficient production (73%). 62 percent of companies cite time pressure in planning and implementation as a difficulty. They consider the investment funds available for this to be just as tricky. Interestingly, only 44 percent see the associated planning of modern production machinery as a problem. The development of a green production strategy is a greater headache for companies (58 percent). On the other hand, companies see only a minor hurdle with employees: the majority rate their acceptance as positive.
