
On February 1, Dr. Michael Gürtner will take over the management of the Development & IT division at Turck Holding. At the same time, the 46-year-old has also been appointed to the Management Board of Werner Turck, which he will head together with Michael Gröbner. Gröbner will be responsible for Production and Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the holding management, while the managing directors of Hans Turck, Christian Wolf and Christian Pauli, will be responsible for Sales & Marketing as well as Finance, Human Resources and Legal in the holding.
Dr. Michael Gürtner studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where he completed his doctorate at the Institute for Measuring Systems and Sensor Technology. He headed various development areas in the Bosch Group, specializing in IT-related topics such as IIoT ecosystems and cloud-based software as service solutions in addition to sensor technology. Most recently, Gürtner was CTO at Sixt, where he was responsible for the digital transformation of the company and its business processes.
