Turck, Block I/O for AIDA
© Turck
Turck is launching block I/O modules with AIDA connector system as a variant for the automotive industry. The push-pull principle of the AIDA connectors guarantees reliable connection of the Ethernet and supply cables without the need for a screw connection. AIDA metal flanges ensure the high resistance of protection classes IP67 and IP69K as well as the wide operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C of the "TBEN" module. There are a total of three variants with AIDA connection technology: "TBEN-A1-16DXP" with 16 universal inputs or outputs, the "-16DIP" variant with 16 digital inputs and the "-8DIP-8DOP" variant with eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs. All modules in the family consistently separate the I/O channels into the galvanically isolated potential groups "disconnectable I/O" and "non-disconnectable I/O". The TBEN-AIDA modules will be available from the beginning of 2016.
