Turck is expanding its portfolio of sensor designs with the cuboid inductive sensors of the Q4.7 series. The sensors in the new design (16 x 8 x 4.7 mm) have been specially developed for applications in which they are installed completely in metal, such as in press tools. The sensors offer a switching distance of two mm, a metal housing and a flexible connection cable with an oil-resistant outer sheath two meters in length. The status LED is housed in the active surface so that it remains visible even when fully flush-mounted.
