15 Pretzel Board from Franzis
© Franzis Verlag
With the Pretzel board, Franzis Verlag is expanding its portfolio to include hardware developed in-house. The board is a microcontroller with a Wi-Fi interface that has been specially designed for the Internet of Things and, at €29.95, is significantly cheaper than comparable alternatives. Several expansion shields for the board are already being planned. Its hardware is comparable to an Arduino Nano with Wifi shield. Thanks to a program library, the board can be programmed via the Arduino IDE and enables projects ranging from light or heating control to the control of Lego models or robots. The user simply controls the Pretzel board via a smartphone, for example. Thanks to the simple programming, the board is also ideal for learning programming.
