The plug-in mounting concept of the flow sensors in Turck's FCST series allows the sensor unit to be freely aligned within the flow channel - regardless of how the process connection is mounted. Users can mount the flow sensors on different pipe diameters using screw-in adapters in standard industrial thread sizes. The sensor adapter system can withstand process pressures of up to 100 bar. For flow sensors with integrated evaluation electronics, the LED display of the compact devices is always easy to read thanks to the freely alignable sensor unit, and the potentiometers for setting the switching point or the analog signal always remain within easy reach. The IP67 sensors monitor flow velocities of up to 300 cm/s and are available in stainless steel or plastic housings with switching or analog output. The portfolio also includes types with additional temperature monitoring ('FTCST') and with remote probes. These remote probes are evaluated with the Turck flow modules of the 'FM' series, so that the flow sensor can also be designed with I/O link capability.
