The survey of VDMA member companies shows that more than six out of ten companies see Industry 4.0 applications as an opportunity to increase the efficiency of their production system. This efficiency potential is to be achieved, for example, by increasing flexibility, reducing throughput times and production costs or improving adherence to delivery dates.
