With its new 12-inch logistics terminal, Noax presents an industrial PC specially designed for use in logistics applications that has an integrated uninterruptible power supply. The battery UPS bridges power failures of up to one hour and thus protects against data loss and operational interruptions. The new industrial computer is therefore particularly suitable for use on logistics vehicles: thanks to its integrated UPS, it guarantees continuous operational readiness of the IPC, even while the vehicle battery is being changed, for example. The terminal offers many setting options: For example, it can be set to shut down safely from a certain duration of interruption after the data has been saved. With the optional ignition key function, the UPS offers additional safety features. This function makes it possible to start the vehicle terminal automatically when the vehicle is ignited and to shut it down automatically when the ignition is switched off, whereby a time delay can be set if required. Further safety functions can be implemented via a digital input. For example, it is possible to automatically switch off the display or lock the touchscreen when the vehicle is in motion. The "DeepSleep" function also prevents the vehicle battery from being drained. The entire configuration of the integrated battery UPS and additional functions can be set via the Noax configuration tool nSmart.
