The C6915 control cabinet PC expands the range of Industrial PCs from Beckhoff with a fanless device with multi-core Atom technology from Intel. According to the manufacturer, this opens up a new price/performance class for PLC and motion control applications thanks to the computing power that can be scaled as required with up to four processor cores. With dimensions of just 48 mm × 164 mm × 119 mm (without mounting plate), the computer is the most compact of the Beckhoff Industrial PCs. Depending on requirements, an HDD, SSD or CFast card can be used as the storage medium. Depending on the required computing power, processors with one, two or four cores are available. This makes the IPC suitable for control tasks in the medium performance segment, but also for motion applications and - thanks to the modern processor platform - for more complex graphics applications.
