Following the modest increases in nominal output in previous years, Fraunhofer saw a clear upward trend in the years 2007 to 2009 as well as in 2011 and 2012. This is accompanied by a significant increase in the proportion of systems in the 3 to 5 MW class (see light blue coloring).
