The team members of the Czech Electric Vehicle Club were Jaromír Vegr from the Czech Republic and Ralf Zimmermann from Germany. The latter is actively involved in the expansion of a non-commercial charging network for electric vehicles. The team's rally vehicle - an electrically powered Peugeot 106 - was originally equipped with a nickel-cadmium battery with a range of 100 kilometers. Jaromír Vegr equipped the vehicle with a 51 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and was able to cover an incredible 502 kilometers outside of the rally. However, the driving speed is not known.
