Even if you are 100 years old, you can always redefine your innovation processes - as demonstrated by the Arnsberg-based lighting supplier Trilux. In May 2011, it formed the so-called 'innovation cell' for the first time, which worked on a comprehensive development project in a highly concentrated manner. The 'Coriflex' LED light strip was created within a short space of time - a lighting revolution that relies entirely on LEDs. The type of lighting also changed the method of delivery: The 'light from a box' concept allows electricians on site to install 50 percent faster. For the Arnsberg-based company, customer orientation means taking everyone involved with the product into account during the development phase: the wholesaler as well as the lighting designer, the architect and the electrician.
