Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is still a relatively new medical imaging technique, for which the first commercially available products were only developed in the mid-1980s. MRI images show the structures of organs and tissue. With his inventions, Dr. Stephan Biber is continuously improving the image quality of magnetic resonance tomographs, making it easier to detect changes in tissue, while at the same time recording times are becoming shorter and shorter.
