11 Noise level meters to build yourself
© Franzis Verlag
The Franzis noise level meter warns when noise becomes a permanent burden or can even be hazardous to health. Thanks to the pre-assembled circuit board, only a few components need to be soldered on. The built-in microcontroller ensures a clear display even in the event of pulsating noises. Four programs provide special functions and displays. In basic mode, four LEDs indicate the current noise level. A volume-controlled running light indicates if the conversation is too loud. There are also additional connections and operating modes: In disco mode, for example, the device functions like a party light organ.
