Afriso offers a sensor for monitoring the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in indoor air. The CO2 sensor is used in areas where many people work, study or live in a room and produce carbon dioxide through respiratory processes: for example in educational institutions, in training and meeting rooms, in open-plan offices as well as in smaller commercial enterprises and in the home. The sensor works on an infrared basis. The CO2 concentration in the room is displayed directly on the device via an LED (color scale green, yellow, red). The earthed mains plug on the back ensures that the sensor can be connected to most sockets. The device can be supplied with 100-240 V AC. The sensor is also available with EnOcean wireless technology, which enables ranges of 10 to 30 m to be achieved.
