Leonard Bauersfeld (16) from Baden-Württemberg was awarded the Chancellor's Prize for the most original work. He worked on a sprinkler that, unlike usual, does not eject the water but draws it in. He proved that the so-called Coriolis force causes the sprinkler to rotate.
