The digital 25 megapixel high-speed camera Eosens 25CXP from Mikrotron with CoaXPress real-time data interface is suitable for high-end applications, according to the manufacturer. The interface offers a data transfer rate of up to 6.25 Gbit/s with a single-core cable and up to 25 Gbit/s with four cores. Data transfer, communication and control to the PC as well as power supply to the camera are carried out via just one cable - with transmission distances of over 100 m. With a resolution of 5120 × 5120 pixels, the camera enables a frame rate of 80 fps, 880 fps with Full HD format and up to 100,000 fps with reduced resolution. The integrated global shutter enables all pixels to be exposed at the same time with an exposure time of up to 1 µs. The camera has a color depth of 10 bit and a dynamic range of 53 db.
