Bird habitat city
David Singer (19) from North Rhine-Westphalia has investigated the quality of life in a city "from a bird's eye view". He recorded the number of resident birds in the municipality of Brakel using the scientifically proven point-stop counting method. His analysis shows that fallow land, native copses and transition areas between residential areas and green spaces are particularly popular habitats - even for endangered species. David Singer is the national winner in the field of biology.
