With the multifunctional Psenopt Advanced photoelectric sensors, Pilz is expanding its range of photoelectric sensors for safe access to danger zones. Depending on requirements, either muting, blanking or even cascading can be implemented with one and the same photoelectric sensor. The associated 'Psenopt Configurator' software simplifies commissioning and operation. Safety up to PLe is guaranteed: The light grids work with continuous individual beams that completely exclude the so-called 'dead zones'. This allows the light barriers to move closer to the application. When several devices are used, the optical coding prevents the light barriers from interfering with each other.
