The 'VC MIPI IMX900' global shutter camera from Vision Components offers 3.2 megapixel resolution. The ultra-compact camera module has long-term availability and is particularly suitable for intralogistics applications. With a sensor diagonal of just 5.8 mm, the module can be flexibly integrated. According to the manufacturer, it delivers high image quality even in low light. This is aided by the large recording range and light sensitivity up to the near-infrared range (NIR). These properties help with the detection of barcodes and other markings as well as for quality assurance, where infrared light can also be used to detect details that remain hidden under visible light.
