Q3/2023Siemens reports strong order intake
Solid is how the results for the 3rd quarter can be described. Siemens was able to increase sales by 10 % and incoming orders were 15 % up on the same period last year at 24.2 billion euros. However, the forecast has not been raised.

The sale of the mail and parcel handling business of Siemens Logistics in Q4/2022 was the main factor affecting the development of order intake and sales due to portfolio effects of 11% and 17% respectively. The improved earnings are mainly attributable to Large Drives Applications, supported by a very strong increase in sales revenue from this business
