Change in management

Martin Drasch is to become the new CEO of Schuler. The current CEO of Reutlingen-based mechanical engineering company Manz will take up his new position on October 1, 2024.

Drasch (49) has been CEO of Manz, which employs around 1,400 people, since 2018. There he built up the Mobility & Battery Solutions division and initiated a cooperation on the topic of 'turnkey battery factories' with the companies Dürr and Grob. The mechanical engineering graduate previously worked as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Manz and in various management positions at Eisenmann.

In addition to presses, Schuler's product portfolio also includes automation, dies, process expertise and service for the entire metalworking industry. Schuler's Digital Suite brings together solutions for networking forming technology. For gigafactories for battery production, the company offers equipment and service in the process steps of cell assembly and forming. Its customers include automotive manufacturers and suppliers as well as companies from the forging, household appliance and electrical industries. Schuler was founded in 1839 at its headquarters in Göppingen (Germany) and is represented by around 5,000 employees at production sites in Europe, China and America as well as service companies in over 40 countries. The company is part of the international technology group Andritz.
