Management change at connector manufacturer
On September 1, 2024, Christian Schumacher took over the position of Managing Director at Conec Elektronische Bauelemente in Lippstadt, which has been part of the Amphenol Group since 2019.
Before joining Conec, Schumacher was Managing Director at Harting Customized Solutions. "The key to success lies in a strong team that is prepared to see change as an opportunity and set off into the future together," says Schumacher. His vision for Conec is to establish the company as a global innovation leader. The focus will be on strengthening the Conec and Amphenol brands as well as on innovation and speed. The Lippstadt site plays a central role for Schumacher. "The further development of the company headquarters in Lippstadt as a location for innovation is essential for long-term success," he emphasizes.
The current Managing Director Sven Holtgrewe will be available in an advisory capacity until the end of the year before he retires.
