Passive distributors from Murrelektronik significantly reduce the wiring effort in installations: instead of numerous individual cables from the control cabinet to the sensors or actuators, only one distributor trunk line is required in the field. The distributor itself is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the process and the sensors and actuators are connected using the shortest possible connecting cables. The company offers a range of distributors and thus enables suitable installation solutions for different applications. The distributors in all series are equipped with LEDs at each individual slot. This allows employees on the machine to see at a glance which current path is faulty.
