RittalFlexible wire assembly

At SPS 2022, Rittal presented the 'Wire Terminal WT C5' and 'C10' fully automatic wire assembly machines, with which wires can be assembled ten times faster than by hand with individual wire printing (black, white and light blue) and order picking, according to the company.

SEW-Eurodrive is expanding its portfolio to include motors for pure inverter operation: The DR2C.. series synchronous motors meet the highest standardized efficiency class IE5 for variable-speed electric motors. Thanks to the design as a synchronous motor, the speeds of the IE5 motors are not load-dependent. Interlinked system components can therefore be designed without power in the transition. Another advantage of synchronous motor technology is the virtually lossless rotor and thus the low thermal load, as a colder motor has a longer service life. The motors will be available in spring 2023 with outputs of up to 3 kW. They achieve efficiencies of up to 91 %; higher outputs of up to 11 kW in IE5 will follow in late 2023 with efficiencies of up to 94.5 %. Energy-optimized drive solutions are created in combination with all the possibilities of the frequency inverters from the 'MOVI-C' modular automation system.
