Mesago Messe Frankfurt
SPS CareerDrive" career portal launched
Where, if not at trade fairs, can you find skilled workers? That's what Mesago Messe Frankfurt thought and is launching the "SPS CareerDrive" job exchange in response to increased demand from applicants and companies.
If you are looking for a job in the automation industry, the "SPS CareerDrive" career portal offers a selection of suitable opportunities.
Trade fairs - including the SPS - have always offered talented people the opportunity to gain a personal impression of career opportunities. And companies also use trade fair appearances to present themselves as potential employers. However, the omnipresent shortage of skilled workers worldwide continues to prompt a rethink: according to a study conducted by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research (IW Köln) at the beginning of the year, there is a shortage of 88,600 skilled workers in the energy and electrical professions in Germany, for example. In the mechanical and automotive engineering sector, the gap is estimated at 56,600 and there is a shortage of 50,600 skilled workers in IT professions. This means that employee retention and recruitment are currently among the most important tasks in personnel management for many companies.
"SPS CareerDrive" as a year-round offer
Mesago's career portal "SPS CareerDrive" offers companies and job seekers the opportunity to make a match not only during the SPS in Nuremberg. Rather, it is a platform for companies and specialists to offer and find jobs in the automation industry all year round with immediate effect. Gunnar Mey, Vice President SPS New Business: "Trade fairs are temporary events with an important significance. In addition, SPS CareerDrive is a new, year-round offer from Mesago for all players in the automation industry. Here, industry-focused talents can find exciting vacant positions in the automation environment. Employers can use the platform to draw attention to themselves."
During the trade fair from November 14 to 16, interested parties will have the opportunity to access the "SPS CareerDrive" job exchange at several terminals on site in Nuremberg and browse for suitable vacancies.
