Thanks to the size of 35 mm x 30 mm x 23.4 mm, the units can also be mounted directly on the motor or in robot joints. According to Actronic Solutions, the optional connectable circuit board and the CME commissioning software simplify setup and tuning. Two variants are available for the operating voltage of the servo controller: 9 to 90 V(DC) with 10 A(DC) (7.1 Arms) peak or 70 A(DC) (49.5 Arms) peak; at 20 to 180 V(DC) it goes up to 10 A(DC) (7.1 Arms) peak or 30 A(DC) (21.2 Arms) peak. The continuous current is half in each case. The control electronics can be supplied by an auxiliary voltage independent of the power side (keep-alive). The series supports the Ethercat or CANopen communication protocols for real-time data exchange.
