Management change at Andritz and Schuler
The Andritz Supervisory Board and the current Schuler CEO Domenico Iacovelli have mutually agreed on the latter's departure as of December 31, 2023. Dr. Joachim Schönbeck will take over as CEO at the turn of the year.
Andritz CEO Dr. Joachim Schönbeck will take over the management from January 1, 2024.
© AndritzFrom January 1, 2024, Dr. Joachim Schönbeck, CEO of Andritz, will be responsible within the Andritz Group for the Metals Business Area, to which Schuler belongs, and will work closely with Schuler's Managing Directors Thomas Kamphausen (CFO) and Dr. Peter Jost (COO).
"We would like to thank Domenico Iacovelli for his commitment and outstanding achievements, especially in the successful restructuring of the Schuler Group, the strategic development of battery technology for the electric vehicle industry and Andritz's entry into the green hydrogen market," said Joachim Schönbeck. Domenico Iacovelli had led Schuler since 2018.
Schuler offers customer-specific technology in all areas of forming technology - from networked presses to press shop planning. In addition to presses, the product portfolio also includes automation, dies, process expertise and service for the entire metalworking industry. Its customers include automotive manufacturers and suppliers as well as companies from the forging, household appliance and electrical industries. The company is part of the international technology group Andritz.
