Parker Hannifin's PCH network portal is a new approach to Ethernet communication modules that transforms machine I/O architecture. Users can harness the power of IO-Link, extend connectivity to remote IOs and limit wired connections. They can also set up a connection port as a digital input (DI), digital output (DO) or IO-Link master port, adding value in material handling, vehicle body assembly, industrial assembly lines, robotic tools and other automated industrial equipment. The PCH network portal's decentralized I/O and IO-Link master ports provide connectivity for five sizes of the company's H-Series ISO valves. The network portal supports Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP and Ethercat protocols. Configurable I/O with true PNP/NPN switching and IO-Link on each port simplify changes to the machine design.
