01 - Indu-Sol: More space in the control cabinet
The PROmesh B8 compact from Indu-Sol is a managed switch with eight ports and a further development of the established 'PROmesh B8'. According to the manufacturer, the switch with dimensions of 100 mm × 50 mm × 60 mm (H×W×D) offers up to 80 % space savings in the control cabinet compared to commercially available managed switches with comparable performance. This gives users the space they need in the control cabinet to install cables and other infrastructure components. Furthermore, the switch can be installed directly, for example in robot arms, in inking units of printing machines, in autonomous transport systems (AGV) or in control cabinets in extensive systems. The switch offers a maximum transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s, 2 Mbit memory, 6.3 Gbit/s backplane capacity and 1.6 Mpps data throughput. The storage medium (with the device configuration data) for quick device replacement is included in the purchase price; the micro SD card automatically saves the last configuration status and can be easily transferred to the next device.
