New sales location in India
Faulhaber is strengthening its market presence in Asia with a new sales office in India. The office in Pune will be headed by Regional Sales Manager Sachin Kurlekar, who will look after the Indian market together with a local team.
The location is strategically embedded in the Asia-Pacific sales region under the leadership of Managing Director Vester Tan. With the new location, Faulhaber is creating a local presence to specifically address the growing importance of the Indian high-tech market and further expand customer relationships.
"India is considered a dynamic market due to its rapidly growing economy and increasing technologization. This makes the country a promising destination for national and international business. The new location allows us to be even closer to our customers in India - both geographically and technologically," emphasizes Sashin Kurlekar. The team, which consists of sales engineers and motion control experts, provides technical advice and local support directly on site. In close cooperation with existing and new customers, Faulhaber will strengthen its position particularly in the medical technology, robotics and aerospace markets - sectors in which high-precision small drives play a central role.
The systems business is becoming increasingly important. With individual, turnkey drive solutions, Faulhaber offers technologies for complex applications. "Our aim is to build long-term partnerships with local players and respond to the needs of the Indian market with tailor-made solutions," explains site manager Sachin Kurlekar. All products are supplied from the European plants. Customers in India have full access to the entire product portfolio.
