Active cooling through integrated fan
Portescap launches the '40ECP' brushless and slotless motor. It is available in two lengths: the '40ECP44' standard version with 44 mm and the '40ECP55' version with 55 mm.
The Portescap motor's slotless design enables speeds of up to 30,000 rpm, while the 230 g weight and 40 mm diameter not only facilitate continuous miniaturization of applications, but also optimize tool ergonomics. The integrated fan ensures active cooling during motor operation. The motor can maintain peak torques of up to 1.1 Nm for a full two seconds. The 4-pole motor is compatible with the 'R32' gear head and the 'M-Sense' encoder and, according to the manufacturer, enables higher torque at lower speeds and more precise positioning. Electrical parameters and the mechanical interface can be flexibly adapted to individual application requirements.
