Microsoft introduced trust-based working hours in 1998, and two years ago compulsory attendance was abolished. At its new German headquarters in Munich, the company has now also abolished offices. Instead, there are cafés and co-working spaces. Here are the pictures.

Microsoft no longer believes in rigid hierarchies and ambitious lone warriors. Instead of an expert culture, the aim is to work on open platforms and with evolutionary forms of organization. It is impossible to predict what the world of work will look like in 2030.
