In the current version of the R-Series V as a rod version, the sensor is housed in a stainless steel housing that protects the sensor and the non-contact technology from liquids, corrosion and extremely aggressive environments. According to the supplier, the robust sensor with protective housing ensures long-term position measurement in the harshest environments. Hermetically sealed with a housing made entirely of stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L), it meets the requirements of protection classes IP68 and IP69. The output options of the displacement transducer have been extended so that the sensor is also available with Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Powerlink and Profinet output.
