Capture up to 4096 revolutions

For the SES/SEM70 motor feedback systems for direct drives, Sick has implemented a multiturn version with mechanical gearing, which eliminates the need for additional components such as external buffer batteries.

The mechanical multiturn can record up to 4096 revolutions. The motor feedback system has a hollow shaft diameter of 25 mm and is mounted directly on the motor shaft - there is no need for belt connections or mechanical couplings. After assembly, the position of the rotor can also be read out via the "PGT11-S" programming device in order to reliably identify assembly errors. The company is also working on a further size with a hollow shaft diameter of 50 mm and a safety version (SIL2-certified). The motor feedback systems are suitable for use in torque motors and rotary table applications as well as the wide field of direct drives in robot applications, injection molding machines, woodworking centers, semiconductor technology or handling systems.
