7500 N Locking force
Psenmlock extends the family of safe safety gate systems from Pilz. According to the manufacturer, the system offers safe safety gate monitoring and safe guard locking for personnel and process protection up to safety category PL e in a single device.
It acts as a door guard on both small and large, heavy doors - swing and sliding doors as well as hoods and flaps. In addition to these possible applications, a flexibly mounted actuator ensures a high level of tolerance compensation and functionality even with sagging doors. The de-energized guard locking by a bistable magnet reduces the energy consumption of the safety gate system.
Diagnostic data is visible in numerous installation positions thanks to LEDs on three sides of the housing. With its locking force of 7500 N and integrated latching force of 30 N, the safe guard door system prevents unintentional opening of the safety guard. For example, it is also suitable for machines with dangerous overtravel, such as rotating blades, vibrating wheels or robots, where safe guard locking up to PL d or PL e is absolutely essential. In addition, an integrated mechanical restart interlock prevents accidental activation of the guard locking; no separate accessories are required.
