The display of critical process parameters in the field is also a typical customer requirement in systems with fieldbuses, which Endress+Hauser fulfills in the Foundation Fieldbus area with the "RID14" and "RID16" field indicators. To cover the Profibus PA area, both devices are now also available with this protocol. Both field indicators have a backlit LC display with five digits. A bar graph for each of the displayed process values provides an overview of the process. Additional information can be displayed via an editable plain text field - for example unit or TAG. Thanks to the pure listener functionality, the indicators can be quickly integrated into existing networks. The devices listen to and display the values of the cyclical data traffic communicated on the bus. Parameterization is carried out via DIP switches directly on the device or via the "FieldCare" software. They are compatible with profiles 2.0, 3.0, 3.01 and 3.02. All versions have IP67 and Nema 4X protection and worldwide Ex approvals.
