Markus Koehler and Cosimo Helmboldt from the Swiss start-up ComfyLight have developed an LED light fitting with a presence sensor and connectivity. 'comfy' works preventively: the light fixture stores the movements of the occupants. As soon as they leave the house, 'comfy' switches the light on and off in a realistic sequence.
