Disynet introduces the Extended Low Frequency (E.L.F.) accelerometer of the 7705A series from Dytran. According to the supplier, these accelerometers combine the advantages of piezoelectric sensors (high frequency range) and sensors with variable capacitance (true DC response) in one housing. Static accelerations (e.g. cornering), slow vibrations below 1 Hz and high-frequency vibrations up to 10 kHz can be measured with the same sensor. The accelerometers are available with measuring ranges of 20 g, 40 g and 200 g. They operate with a 5 to 28 V (DC) supply at 7 to 9 mA current. Signal and power supply are provided via a 4-pin M4.5 × 0.35 plug connection. The titanium housing weighs 15 g and is hermetically sealed.
