The Nuvo-4000 controller is equipped with Intel CPU i7-3610QE or the smaller i5-3610ME variant. The fanless housing allows 24-hour operation at ambient temperatures of -25 to +60 °C and 10 to 90 % relative humidity. The dimensions are 164 mm × 225 mm × 180 mm. Four PCIe/PCI slots can be equipped differently depending on the task. The two PCIe slots provide a total of 6 GByte/s bandwidth for applications with high-speed data transfer. 48 W of power is available for the x16 PCIe slot, for example for a powerful PCIe frame grabber. Alternatively, the device can be equipped with four PCI cards to work as a controller for test and measurement tasks in industrial automation. Four USB 3.0 and two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are available. Two internal SATA slots for 2.5-inch HDD or SSD allow large amounts of data to be stored directly in the device. An optional fan can be installed, which is automatically activated when required.
