'Rutronik Smart' is Rutronik's bundled range of selected sensors, wireless components, microcontrollers, power management and security solutions as well as software and services for devices within the Internet of Things (IoT). One of the products is the BME280 from Bosch Sensortec (pictured) - an integrated sensor unit for measuring pressure, humidity and temperature in a single housing. The sensor unit was specially developed for applications such as indoor navigation, smart home, sports and fitness applications and measures 2.5 mm × 2.5 mm × 0.93 mm. As a system-in-package (SiP), the BNO055 from Bosch Sensortec combines various sensors plus sensor fusion in one housing. In a small 5.2 mm × 3.8 mm × 1.1 mm housing, it combines a 12-bit acceleration sensor with three degrees of freedom, a three-axis angular rate sensor and a three-axis geomagnetic sensor as well as a 32-bit microcontroller running the FusionLib software 'BSX3.0'.
