With the linear potentiometers of the VLPSC series, Variohm presents robust displacement transducers with output signals for machine and plant engineering. They offer the option of adapting the output signal to the actual measuring span of the respective application. Self-aligning rod end brackets simplify installation, insofar as the exact linear alignment of the moving parts is not required. The measuring ranges are between 25 mm and 290 mm (in eight steps). The mounted, interference-resistant and programmable signal converter with a housing in IP67 provides the output signal alternatively in the format 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA. Using the teach function, the signal converter can map the actual lower range value and the actual upper range value to the standard signal, so that a measuring range of 0 to 100 % always uses the full span of the output signal for signal processing. The displacement transducers achieve protection class IP65 (optionally IP67) and operate in a temperature range from -40 to +90 °C.
